Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day.  For Father's Day, we asked the children the same series of questions we asked for Mother's Day and typed out the answers.

The questions were:

How old is your dad?

What colour is his hair?  What colour are his eyes?

What does your dad love to cook?

What does your dad always tell you?

What makes your dad happy?

What do you really love about your dad?

Each child drew a picture of their dad to go along with the responses.  Here are some of the responses.  You can click on the images to make them larger.

When I asked three year old M. if I could ask him some questions about his dad, he immediately replied "Of course, my dad is #1!"  It was so sweet.  You will notice that M.'s picture of his dad is very similar to the one he drew of his mom.

We all liked five year old L.'s response to "What makes your dad happy?"

Four year old M.'s dad does not have hair.  Her explanation as to why he doesn't have any hair is priceless!

This is four year old A.'s present for her dad.

Four year old N. is very competitive.  Read his answer to the last question.

The illustrations were very beautiful.

Five year old L.'s dad really does have very long legs!

Four year old C. has drawn his whole family - mom, dad, C. and his little sister.

Five year old E.'s dad is painting a picture for her family.

Four year old K.'s dad loves pears.

Newly four year old V. has drawn a lovely picture of herself with her mom and dad.

Happy Father's Day!
